Catterick Community Library is hosting 'The Great Moors and Dales Celebratory Exhibition' 24th - 31st October, featuring artworks and a film from a project that explored creativity and creative careers with children from seven North Yorkshire primary schools including Castleton, Danby, East Whitby, Egton, Goathland, Le Cateau and Settle.

Prof. Marvel and his band of travelling players from 1826 were lost in time and landed in 2026 seeking the help of children to bring their travelling show up to date. Over 300 children from North Yorkshire helped them update the show,  learn about entertainment and communication in the 21st Century. The children worked with professional artists to explore their own creativity and artistic skills. They made wonderful hats, became photographers, costume makers, poster designers and more!

A big thank you to all of the organisations which helped bring this exhibition to life...
